Catherine Anne Castillo

Catherine Anne Castillo is a licensed healthcare provider specializing in trauma recovery and narcissistic abuse, and the author of In the Darkness of Shards: Poems from a Broken Place, an Amazon Top New Release (last Dec 2024). Before she treated narcissistic abuse professionally, she survived it herself, an experience that took her across three countries as she rebuilt her career and her sense of self from the ground up. She wrote her way through the aftermath, turning what she couldn't yet say out loud into poetry.

Catherine now brings both a clinician's insight and a survivor's lived experience to conversations about relational abuse and recovery. She is also a women's health specialist, a femtech cofounder, and a finalist for the She Inspires Awards. She has spoken about her story and her book on several podcasts, including Trauma Uncomplicated, Relatable Bitches Podcast, and Book Babble with Wit.Lit.Women.
