Thank You For YOU!
"I am in recovery from addiction and domestic and emotional abuse but for the last 10 months I have solely been concentrating on my addiction recovery because honestly I am still numb from what happened to me and I haven't wanted to deal with it so I thought by putting it away in a week box on a shelf in my mind I would be able to cope but something happened around me about a week ago and I froze on the spot, I couldn't move, I was shaking, and I was terrified. When I finally got home I sat down and reflected on what happened and I realised the reason I froze was because of the trauma he put me through and I then realised it was time to take that box of the shelf and deal with it. I haven't been listening to podcasts long and but finally came across yours the other day(10/04/2026) and i started listening from the beginning and i think it's absolutely amazing what your doing. The fact that you are empowering women and men to speak out but also having professionals on as well, there's not many podcasts out there like yours. I have a long long way to go in my own healing but from listening to your podcast it's made me realise and understand some thing's I didn't before. Thank you for your podcast Thank you for empowering women Thank you for empowering men And Thank you for you 🫶🏻 I would like to share a poem i wrote not long after I was took/got away from my ex... Broke You Broke My Heart You Broke My Soul You Broke My Spirit You Broke Me Physically You Broke Me Mentally You Broke My Confidence You Broke My Self-Esteem You Broke The Person I Used To Be You Broke Me You Made Me A Victim But Now, I'm Making Myself A SURVIVOR! Feel free to share my poem if you feel it's worthy enough 😌 Thank you 🥰"

This is the validation I needed
"Every time I listen to this podcast I’m bawling. Thank you for confirming what I always knew was abuse but felt responsible for. Your podcast has helped me accept it’s not my fault and some people are just shitty."
