Founder/Creator

Hollyanna Vellichor is the creator of BioCoding™, a unique somatic approach designed to help people reduce distress and reconnect with their wellbeing.

Her path into holistic health began when her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. With two young children at the time, Hollyanna undertook five qualifications in just two years so she could care for her mother — the start of what has since become an extensive and ongoing training across multiple modalities. Supporting her mother until her passing, while living with her own diagnoses of fibromyalgia and PTSD, set Hollyanna on a lifelong journey of in-depth research into the nervous system and how the body processes pain and trauma.

Born into a high-control religious group, Hollyanna eventually left and was shunned by her community. Rebuilding her life from the ground up, she discovered first-hand that recovery is possible even after deep physical, emotional, and complete environmental collapse. This lived experience became the foundation for BioCoding™, her unique approach to decoding the body’s repair language through geometric movement.

Over the years, she has worked with the general population as well as people facing complex health challenges, including chronic pain. Her work is compassionate, rigorous, and practical, blending years of study in bodywork, yoga, meditation, and hypnotherapy with cutting-edge science and the resilience of her own story.

She has been the guinea pig of her own research — the living experiment, proof of concept, and successful result of her own project. Today, she brings that research in full to her work with clients, offering not just theory but tested, embodied methods that deliver real change.

Hollyanna is also an ambassador for lifestyle medicine, working with the Voices of Lived Experience team for the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, bringing the patient perspective into the future of healthcare.

Religious Trauma, Cult Recovery & High-Control Groups with Hollyanna I Ep. 140

“Look at that little enemy of God.” That single sentence captures the shame and fear Hollyanna grew up with as the fourth generation of her family inside a high-control religious group. In this episode of Beyond the Statistics, Ingrid Dutton sits down with Hollyanna to talk about religious trauma, cult recovery, coercive control, and what happens when a system demands obedience at the expense of identity. Hollyanna describes growing up in an environment where questioning could be dangerous, i...
